We want to not only share our own time, money and knowledge with others, but also show more people that they too have enough - enough to share.
We aim to achieve this goal by motivating as many people as possible to donate and share - even if it is just a little of what they have - by being a Foundation that everyone can wholeheartedly trust. A foundation where we personally guarantee that not a single donated penny will be lost along the way: 100% of your contributions go directly to charity.

Who We Are & How it All Started
The Happiness Foundation was founded in 2023 by Tatjana as a gift to the community on her 5th anniversary of living in Bali. Deeply touched by the warm welcome she received, she felt a strong desire to give back.
With the invaluable support of her local foundation partner Atha, Tatjana established the Happiness Foundation, which is now officially registered as an NGO in both Indonesia and Germany.

How to Get Involved
If you are in Bali, the best way to get involved is by joining our Community Kitchen, held every 2nd and 4th Sunday or volunteering at our English classes, held every 1st and 3rd Saturday in Uluwatu. It is a great opportunity to donate your time, connect with like-minded people and make a real difference.
If you are not in Bali but still want to contribute, please contact us to explore other ways to support our mission from afar - such as organizing a local fundraiser or offering your services remotely.

Happy Place - Community Center
The Happy Place Community Center
At our future Happy Place, we will create a vibrant, opportunity-filled space where local kids can come after school to learn, grow and be inspired. Through free English and arts classes and fun sports activities - led by local staff and supported by passionate volunteers - we aim to build a supportive community that makes a lasting impact in the Bukit area of Bali.
We also plan to offer engaging activities such as Indonesian language lessons, Balinese cooking classes and other cultural workshops for tourists and expats. All proceeds will go directly toward supporting our ongoing charity programs.

Happy Recycling for a Cleaner Bali
Bali is dealing with a devastating waste management crisis.
We are currently in the process of teaming up with BUMdesa, Pecatu's local waste collection company, to support their efforts in launching a sustainable organic waste recycling program aimed at preserving the island’s beauty.
Separating organic waste, such as food scraps, from regular trash is not only vital for reducing waste, but also for decreasing methane emissions and lowering landfill fire risks.
We will share updates on this project soon! Together, we can take small steps toward a cleaner and greener Bali!
